The 8 launch maps
Use this list when Google mixes the sequel with the original game's much larger map library. The launch roster is:
- Metro
- SS Royale
- Casino
- Swift Peaks
- Secret Lab
- Museum
- Moon
- Forest
Why each map has an A and B layout
The official launch feature list confirms two layouts for every map. Learn the map name and layout letter together: a familiar setting does not guarantee the same route, hazard timing, or recovery line. For returning tracks, published developer material describes Layout A as preserving the original route while Layout B changes the course.
What is new in the sequel
tinyBuild's public launch replies identify Museum, Moon, and Forest as the three brand-new maps. The remaining launch tracks return or reinterpret familiar SpeedRunners locations, which is why search results often mix old and new route advice.
How to learn a layout without memorizing bad shortcuts
Start in Practice and make three passes: first follow the safe route, then mark the blue grapple ceilings and forced hazards, and only then test a shortcut. A useful shortcut must have a clear entrance, a recoverable miss, and a faster exit; this page does not invent layout-specific lines that the public sources do not establish.
Map secrets already documented
Four launch secrets already have direct public demonstrations: Metro has Free Ticket to Nowhere, SS Royale has S Marks the Spot, Casino has Royal Flush, and Museum has Museum Heist. Open the secret-achievement guide from the route links below for the matching clips.
