Characters & rewards
SpeedRunners 2 characters, level 18, skins, and rewards
All 12 launch runners are playable; they are not a code-locked roster. A current launch-build player report says each runner's cosmetic track displays level 18 as its cap, then requires you to fill the level-18 XP bar to receive that runner's final skin and reward. The launch roster is Speedrunner, HotHead, Moonraker, Unic, Cosmonaut Comrade, Maneki Neko, Falcon, Dart, Starlight, Salem, Skull Duggery, and Vidna.

What happens at character level 18?
A September 8 launch-build Steam discussion reports that the displayed character level stops at 18. You still need to fill the level-18 XP bar to receive that runner's final skin and final reward. Players sometimes call that last filled bar 'level 19,' but the game continues to display level 18. This is a current player observation, not an official reward-by-level table.
What is actually unlockable: skins, costumes, and decorations
Players often search for skins, while the official launch material calls them costumes and also confirms unlockable profile decorations. The available sources establish the final character-level milestone, but they do not publish a complete reward-by-reward chart. This page therefore does not invent intermediate level rewards, currencies, campaign conditions, or character unlock requirements.
Do not reuse original SpeedRunners codes
Search results still mix the first game with the sequel. Codes and unlock steps written for the original SpeedRunners are not proof for SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed. Check that any future instruction names the sequel and the current build before using it.
Check the reward type in game
When a reward appears, first identify whether it changes your playable runner, the runner's costume, or only your profile decoration. That prevents a cosmetic reward from being mistaken for a locked character.
